2025 Mazda CX-70

Recommended Oil Type for the Mazda CX-70

When it comes to maintaining your Mazda CX-70, one of the most critical aspects is ensuring you use the correct oil type. Using the right oil helps optimize engine performance, improves fuel efficiency, and extends the lifespan of your engine. At Wallace Mazda in Stuart, FL, we’re committed to helping you keep your vehicle running smoothly. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the recommended oil type for the Mazda CX-70, how often to change it, and why it’s essential for your engine’s health. more What Is the Recommended Oil Type for the Mazda CX-70? For optimal performance, Mazda recommends using SAE 0W-20 full synthetic oil for the Mazda CX-70. This oil is specifically engineered to provide superior lubrication, reduce engine wear, and enhance fuel economy. Full synthetic oil performs better under extreme temperatures and provides long-lasting protection compared to conventional oils. If you’re unsure whether your vehicle requires a specific oil blend, it’s always a good idea to check your owner’s manual or consult with the service team at Wallace Mazda in Stuart, FL. Why Does the Mazda CX-70 Require Synthetic Oil? Mazda’s engines are designed with advanced technology that demands a high-performing oil to keep components properly lubricated. Here’s why synthetic oil is recommended for the Mazda CX-70: Better Engine Protection: Synthetic oil maintains its viscosity better than conventional oil, providing more consistent protection against engine wear. Improved Fuel Economy: Synthetic oil reduces engine friction, allowing your engine to run more efficiently. High-Temperature Resistance: Whether it’s the Florida heat or a long road trip, synthetic oil remains stable at high temperatures. Longer Oil Life: Synthetic oil lasts longer than conventional oil, allowing for extended intervals between oil changes. How Often Should You Change the Oil in a Mazda CX-70? While synthetic oil lasts longer than conventional oil, it’s still important to follow Mazda’s recommended maintenance schedule. For the Mazda CX-70, it’s generally advised to change your oil every 7,500 to 10,000 miles or every 6 to 12 months, whichever comes first. However, if you drive in severe conditions like stop-and-go traffic, extreme heat, or frequent short trips, you may need to change your oil more frequently. To ensure your vehicle’s engine remains in top condition, schedule regular maintenance with Wallace Mazda’s expert service team in Stuart, FL. Our technicians will check your oil levels, inspect for any issues, and ensure your CX-70 is running at peak performance. Signs You Need an Oil Change Not sure if it’s time for an oil change? Here are a few telltale signs that it’s time to schedule service: Oil Change Light or Check Engine Light Illuminates Engine Noise or Knocking Sounds Excessive Exhaust Smoke Dirty or Dark Oil When Checked Strong Oil Smell Inside the Cabin If you experience any of these warning signs, visit Wallace Mazda’s service center in Stuart, FL, for a prompt oil change. Can I Use a Different Oil Type for My Mazda CX-70? While it’s possible to use a different oil type, it’s not recommended. Mazda’s engineers have optimized the engine’s performance based on the specific characteristics of SAE 0W-20 full synthetic oil. Using a different oil type may reduce performance, fuel economy, and engine protection. Stick with what’s recommended to ensure your vehicle stays in optimal condition. If you’re ever in doubt, our team at Wallace Mazda in Stuart, FL, is happy to provide guidance and ensure you’re using the right oil for your CX-70. Mazda CX-90 Plug-In SUV and EV Tax Credit

The New EV Tax Credit Has Many Requirements

There has been a lot of confusion about 2023’s new federal EV tax credit law.  First of all, when it comes to the tax code, many of us find it beyond confusing.  That is why a lot of people rely on tax professionals to help them prepare their annual tax returns.  Well the new EV tax credit won’t disappoint you, it is extremely confusing. more So What Exactly Is The Electric Vehicle Tax Credit? The electric vehicle tax credit is a nonrefundable tax credit. It is offered to taxpayers who purchase a qualifying new electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid vehicle. It can also be used on qualifying used electric vehicles.  A nonrefundable tax credit will lower your tax liability by the credit amount. However, it can only be used to offset taxes owed. If you do not owe taxes and are receiving a refund, you can not use the tax credit.  Taxpayers can only claim one credit per vehicle. The new vehicle EV tax credit is worth up to a total of $7,500. It consists of a $3,750 tax credit for the battery requirement and a $3,750 tax credit for the critical minerals requirement. The new electric vehicle must meet several other qualifications in order to qualify the full EV tax credit. You may also qualify for up to $4,000 tax credit on qualifying used electric vehicles. There is a maximum limit of 30% of the sales price of a used EV. How Will I Know If I Qualify For The Tax Credit? First, the vehicle you are purchasing must qualify for the tax credit.  The vehicle must meet several criteria such as MSRP, final assembly requirements, and battery & critical minerals requirements.  The IRS urges taxpayers to use its tool for the most up to date information on the tax credit and vehicle requirements.  You can now consult the FuelEconomy.gov website for the latest information. The purchaser of the electric vehicle must also qualify for the tax credit.  The new law sets limits on the modified adjusted gross income for taxpayers in order to qualify for the tax credit.  If both the vehicle and the taxpayer meet the requirements for the tax credit, you must file IRS Form 8936 with your tax return to claim the EV tax credit. Are Mazda Reliable Cars?

The answer to the question are Mazda reliable cars is absolutely! Mazda has always been known for their sporty cars and SUVs. They are fun to drive and they look great. However, many people did not know how reliable the Mazda brand is. That has changed now as many consumers have turned to Mazda for its reliability and durability. One of the main reasons for Mazda cars being so reliable is their conservative manufacturing approach. Mazda uses many of the same parts across their full line of vehicles for consistent quality and performance. Mazda also uses an interesting approach when producing new models, their redesigns tend not to stray too far from the proven original models. All of this lead to Mazda being named the most reliable brand in 2022 by Consumer Reports! Another big selling point for Mazda is its affordability. According to Repair Pal, Mazda's annual maintenance costs average around $462 per year compared to $652 per year across all brands. You won't break the bank when you buy a new Mazda. In fact, the 2023 Mazda CX-5 SUV has a starting price under $29,995. more New & Used Reliable Mazda Cars For Sale In Stuart, FL If you are in the market for a new or used Mazda car or SUV, then you should shop Wallace Mazda in Stuart, FL. Wallace Mazda's Kelli Sheetz Wins Regional Vehicle Presentation Competition

Kelli Sheetz from Wallace Mazda in Stuart, FL, won Mazda's Regional Vehicle Presentation Competition with her video on the Mazda CX-5 AWD.  Enjoy her video on Mazda's i-Active AWD system and see why she is one of the top Sales Consultants at the Wallace Auto Group. The problem with most electronic AWD systems is that they are reactive.  The system only applies the brake or clutch to transfer power to the other wheels after the problem wheel is already spinning free and the wheel speed sensor is triggered.  Mazda is preventing accidents with its i-Active AWD feature by being truly predictive.  Watch Kellie Sheetz from Wallace Mazda in Stuart, FL, give a quick summary of the benefits of the Mazda i-Active AWD system. By constantly monitoring different factors around the vehicle, Mazda's i-ACTIV AWD is able to predict upcoming conditions, allocating engine torque to the necessary wheel to maintain control, stability and forward momentum.  The i-Active AWD system from Mazda monitors 27 sensors over 200 times per second to get a clear picture of outside driving conditions along with driver inputs to the braking and steering systems to predict upcoming conditions.  It is rare for the driver to ever feel any wheel slippage as the system has already adjusted to the driving conditions before the human body can ever detect anything is wrong.

2022 Mazda MX-30 Review, Pricing, and Specs

2022 Mazda MX-30 Review, Pricing, and Specs Mazda will be bringing its first all-electric vehicle to market soon in the form of the MX-30 SUV, which will offer a plug-in-hybrid variant, too. The subcompact crossover has a sharp exterior design with a coupe-like roofline and rear-hinged back doors similar to those found on the BMW i3 electric car. Many details are still hazy, but Mazda says the SUV will come with a 35.5-kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a 144-hp front-mounted electric motor. Pre-orders have already started for South Florida buyers and Mazda says the MX-30 will start rolling out to dealerships in the United States this fall, starting in California before expanding to other states such as Florida. What's New for 2022? Not only is the MX-30 an all-new model for Mazda, it marks the first time the Japanese automaker has experimented with an all-electric powertrain. It's similarly sized to the current CX-3 and CX-30 crossovers, but borrows the MX nomenclature of the MX-5 Miata, giving us hope that it will be a performance oriented option in the electric-SUV marketplace. Get Pre-Approved Reserve Yours Now Value Your Trade Pricing and Which One to Buy We aren't sure how many trims will be offered on the MX-30 when it eventually hits the market, but if it follows the normal Mazda method, we expect four trims ranging in price from the base Sport model to the loaded and luxurious Signature. Until we know more about the pricing and available equipment, we'll hold off on recommending one trim over the other. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The all-electric MX-30 will have one 144 horsepower electric motor that will drive the front wheels; all-wheel drive isn't available. However, we've also learned that there will be a plug-in-hybrid version that'll pair an electric motor with a rotary engine, so perhaps all-wheel drive is still on the table. Despite the seemingly low horsepower rating, the MX-30 should still delivery decent low-speed acceleration, but those seeking outright speed may find rivals such as the Hyundai Kona Electric and the Mini Cooper Electric offer more power. When we have a chance to test drive the MX-30, we'll update this story with driving impressions and test results. Range, Charging, and Battery Life Compared to other electric vehicles, the MX-30's 35.5-kWh battery pack is small. Mazda hasn't released a driving range yet for the U.S.-spec model, but we estimate it will only deliver around 100 miles per charge, which less than half that of the Chevrolet Bolt EV and the Kona Electric. The battery will be capable of charging on standard AC power as well as more modern and faster DC chargers. This replenishes the battery a lot faster and more efficiently than most other EV vehicles on the market today. Get Pre-Approved Reserve Yours Now Value Your Trade Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG The EPA hasn't released fuel economy estimates for the MX-30, but similar electric vehicles such as the Kona Electric and Bolt EV carry ratings of 120 and 119 MPGe, respectively. We expect the MX-30 to earn a similar rating. For more information about the MX-30's fuel economy, visit the EPA's website. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo The MX-30's cabin uses natural and sustainable materials such as cork and breathable fabric upholstery made from recycled plastic bottles. Front-seat space looks like it will easily fit two adult Americans, but the rear seat appears to be far more cramped, both in head- and legroom. A floating center console is right on trend and frees up space for storage behind a digitized screen that adjusts the car's climate control system. We're not sure how much cargo space will be available behind the MX-30's rear seats, but if the similarly sized CX-3 is anything to go by, Costco runs may require folding the rear seats flat. Infotainment and Connectivity In addition to the digital panel for the MX-30's climate controls and vehicle settings, a secondary display sprouts from the dashboard to cover infotainment features such as the audio system, navigation, and backup camera. We expect it will use Mazda's latest infotainment system, which launched on the 3 sedan and hatchback, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Safety and Driver Assistance Features Called i-Activsense, the bundle of features provides collision mitigation and lane-keeping features to help reduce the risk of an accident. For more information about the MX-30's crash-test results, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ( NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety ( IIHS) websites. Key safety features include: Available automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection Available lane departure warning with lane-keeping assist Available blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert Warranty and Maintenance Coverage Assuming the MX-30 doesn't receive special warranty coverage, it should come with the same set of policies as its stable mates, such as the CX-3, the CX-5, and the CX-9. Limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles Powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles No complimentary scheduled maintenance Get Pre-Approved Reserve Yours Now Value Your Trade

Mazda’s North America sales grew last year despite the Covid pandemic, thanks to the popularity of its CX-9 seven-seat sport utility vehicle and CX-30 crossover. BMW, Subaru, Porsche and Honda rounded out the top five spots on the Consumer Reports 2021 Brand Report Card, which was released Thursday. Alfa Romeo fell to the bottom of the list of 32 brands, behind Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Jeep and Lincoln. To determine the rankings, Consumer Reports buys vehicles anonymously from dealerships for road testing. It conducts tests for braking, handling, comfort, convenience, safety and fuel economy, and includes survey responses from Consumer Reports subscribers in its analysis. In 2020, Porsche and Genesis (which is owned by Hyundai) topped the report card. Genesis fell 13 places this year “due to declining predicted reliability among its models,” Consumer Reports said. Consumer Reports noted that the brand’s redesigned sport utility vehicles, the Aviator and Corsair, performed well in road tests but had “much below average reliability.” Last year’s top American-owned auto brand, Tesla, fell five places to land at 16. Tesla Model Y Elon Musk’s electric vehicle venture was “dragged down by reliability issues with the Model S, Model Y, and Model X,” Consumer Reports said. In the U.S., Tesla recently issued a voluntary recall of tens of thousands of its older Model S and Model X vehicles due to touchscreen failures that pose a safety risk for drivers. Tesla also recalled around 9,500 Model X and Model Y vehicles over faulty roof trim and bolts in November. Tesla garnered high scores for owner satisfaction and performed well in road tests, Consumer Reports said. But only the Model 3, Tesla’s more affordable electric sedan, held a high enough reliability and overall score to be recommended to drivers by Consumer Reports. Lagging just behind Tesla were Mini, Kia and Volkswagen, which all followed in Tesla’s footsteps and now offer pure battery electrics. At the bottom of Consumer Reports’ 2021 rankings were Mitsubishi, Land Rover and in last place, Alfa Romeo. Alfa Romeo dropped by 5 places because of “worsened reliability” and poor performance in road tests, Consumer Reports said. Source: Link Get Pre-Approved Get Today's Specials Value Your Trade
